The Philadelphia Phillies organization was created in 1883 and played their first games in Recreation Park. They would later move to various locations throughout the city. They were beat by the Blue Jays but the '93 Phillies are one of the most beloved teams in the city. Philly fans would have to wait until 2008, when Chase Utley and the rest of the team brought home their second title by beating the expansion team, the Rays, from Tampa in five games.
